On a typical renovation, the daily log lives in a notebook, issues are photos lost in a group chat, budgets are spreadsheets and payment certificates are calculated by hand. The builder, the interior designer, the client and the subcontractors all work from different versions of the truth.

Obrador centralizes the project: daily log, issues pinned on the floor plan, progress certificates, budgets, purchase orders and a 4-step quoting tool that starts from the floor plan. Upload a plan and AI detects the rooms and their measurements; then Obrador calculates materials, local social security charges, VAT, margin and schedule. Quotes go out as a PDF or by WhatsApp.

A price search pulls material prices from local stores and supplier lists, and a tools register tracks where every machine is and who has it.

Each role sees what it needs: builder, interior designer, client and subcontractor. It is designed for the phone first, because most of the work happens on site.

Obrador was built with Claude Code. The code came fast. What took time was getting the trade right: how a certificate is calculated, how much material a room actually needs, which trades go first, and how local taxes apply. Every calculation was reviewed and corrected until the numbers matched how builders really quote.
