Salesforce Trailhead
Various designs for Salesforce Trailhead Platform

Strategic Design
Shaping UX for a Global Learning Platform
I contributed to the design of multiple pages within Salesforce’s Trailhead platform, focusing on enhancing learning experiences for a global user base. I collaborated closely with stakeholders to understand user needs around seamless navigation, clear learning paths, and accessible resources.
While the research team led data collection and analysis, I partnered with them to define research objectives, develop test scripts, and interpret insights that informed key design decisions. My role centered on translating these findings into actionable, user-centered solutions that aligned with both product strategy and business goals.
Ideation & Prototype
Lightning Design System guidelines and iteration based on feedback
I worked at the intersection of UX strategy and system architecture to create scalable and impactful learning experiences. I facilitated co-creation workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to define user needs and business goals, ensuring our design decisions supported Trailhead’s mission and Salesforce’s growth objectives.
Using UX artifacts such as user flows, information architecture maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, I guided the iterative design process from ideation to high-fidelity mockups.
For learners, I designed intuitive pages that simplify access to modules, badges, and trails, fostering engagement and skill adoption.
For administrators, I developed dashboards and reporting tools to track user progress and platform performance.
Additionally, I contributed to the architecture of custom Lightning Design System components and defined their interaction behaviors, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the platform.

Testing & Conclusion
Clarity and motivation through gamification and psychology-driven design
During testing for Trailhead, I conducted iterative usability testing to refine key interactions across the homepage, learning paths, and credentialing pages.
By analyzing engagement metrics, I addressed friction points in progress dashboards, course recommendations, and user profiles, enhancing clarity and motivation through gamification and psychology-driven design.
Optimizing badges, ranking levels, and point mechanics reinforced intrinsic motivation, while streaks, progress bars, and leaderboards leveraged behavioral psychology to sustain engagement.
