Arena Strive
Mobile app for clinicians to learn how to deal with high levels of stress

Research & Definition
Biometric and psychological data that helps clinicians manage their wellbeing.
As a UX/UI designer, I followed a comprehensive design process to create an app for clinicians to manage and reduce their stress, ensuring the solution was user-centered and impactful.
The process began with user research, where we conducted interviews and surveys with clinicians to understand their stressors, daily routines, and preferences for self-care tools. Based on these insights, I defined key user personas and pain points, such as time constraints, lack of personalized solutions, and the need for quick stress relief techniques in a very chaotic environment.
IDEATION & PROTOTYPING
Identifying key stress triggers and behavioral patterns.
During the ideation phase, we brainstormed features like guided breathing exercises, mindfulness sessions, stress tracking, and personalized notifications. I then created low-fidelity wireframes to map out the app’s structure and flow, focusing on simplicity and ease of use. After validating the initial concepts with users, I developed high-fidelity prototypes incorporating the brand colors, intuitive navigation, and accessible design elements to ensure a positive user experience.
The app is under construction, but you can see the MVP here: arenalabs.co/clinicians/
TESTING & CONCLUSIONS
The app’s success hinges on its ability to fit into clinicians' crazy routines.
In the wireframing, prototyping, and user testing phases, we began with low-fidelity wireframes to define the app’s structure and user flows. Next, we develop interactive prototypes in tools like Figma, incorporating key features such as guided breathing exercises, stress tracking, stress coaching and more.
Finally, we conducted usability testing with clinicians, assessing ease of navigation, engagement, and pain points through think-aloud sessions and task-based evaluations. Feedback from this phase lead us to iterative improvements, ensuring the app is both intuitive and effective.
